Today we eat pancakes

and breakfast patties. yum. a nice sleep in, late breakfast, no plans. today we can build the composter and research chicken enclosures. maybe i'll make a first attempt at refinishing some of the furniture that is currently filling the garage. or rewire the two lamps.

Starting seemingly at random this is Day One.

Thoughts for today include: 1. If I quit sweeping Libby's hair off the floor, how long will it take for the piles to become sentient? and 2. Will they be upset?
